Twin Rivers Council for the Arts Hosts MSU Art Installation Student Exhibition

Strata art exhibition Mankato

MANKATO, Minn. – Twin Rivers Council for the Arts will host “Strata”, a site-specific installation exhibition of three Minnesota State University students, March 17, 2016 in the Emy Frentz Arts Guild Gallery.

Shelley Caldwell, Eli Rose and Shayna Tietje, students enrolled in advanced installation art courses at MSU, will display their work until April 20, 2016.

The three installations speak to the Emy Frentz Gallery’s unique architecture while addressing the broad theme of strata. Strata can be defined as layers of material, naturally or artificially formed. Subtle layers are revealed as viewers experience the three featured installations from multiple vantage points.

The opening reception will take place Thursday, March 17 from 5-8 p.m. in the Emy Frentz Arts Guild Gallery, at 523 S 2nd Street, Mankato.
