Concert to be Held to Benefit Pregnancy Resource Group in Mankato

A concert benefitting Options for Women | Mankato, a pregnancy
resource center, will be held at Hosanna Lutheran Church Saturday,
April 23. Funds are slated to replace the center’s ultrasound machine
which is nearing the end of its optimal functionality.

Doors open at 7:30 and concert begins at 8:00 p.m. FourEver Young,
last year’s warmly received vocal quartet is returning. They will be
joined by a group called Carver Creek Bluegrass, a family band
comprised entirely of siblings. This group does a variety of
Bluegrass, Old-time, Irish and Country Music, always keeping on the
cheerful side of the spectrum.

A free-will offering will be taken as admission to the second annual
Celebration for Life Benefit Concert.

Options for Women | Mankato (OFW) is a nonprofit organization formed
to provide positive alternatives for women making difficult decisions
related to unplanned or difficult pregnancies. OFW provides limited
medical services, prenatal and parenting education coupled with
material assistance through a program called Earn While You Learn,
along with other support services. All of this is done in a
respectful, caring and professional environment before, during and
after pregnancy.

Having been open for a year now, Options for Women has provided over
200 medical and support services to women in the Mankato area,
according to Lori Letourneau, Executive Director. The center is
conveniently located across from the Minnesota State University campus
